Maths Mayhem

Maths Mayhem is an educational app that is presented in the form of mini-games, allowing you to choose which one you prefer or play them all to improve your math skills. The mini-games are designed to test your skills in addition, subtraction, division and multiplication, including equations with parentheses.

One of the mini-games is "Summarized", in which you will be given a target value and a set of 5 numbers that you can modify in the page settings. You will have 30 seconds to try to figure out how to reach the target value using the numbers you have. If you are unable to do so, you can click on the "Show equation" button for help.

Another mini-game is "Calculate This", which is presented as a calculator. You can enter an equation and the app will show you the answer and also how it arrived at the answer by breaking down the equation. Once you are shown the answer, you can click on the magnifying glass to see the step-by-step breakdown. The third mini-game is "Fun Equation", in which you will be shown an equation and must guess the correct answer from the given selection. There is a time limit and each time you get the answer right, you get more time. There are several settings you can modify to set how difficult the equations will be.

The fourth mini-game is "Multiply this", which will show you a multiplication table on several pages. You can choose to have the app tell you the answer or you can choose to enter the answer yourself and the app will tell you if it is correct or incorrect. Finally, the "Quick Sums" mini-game is similar to "Fun Equation", but there is a grid of numbers to choose from. The application will store the number of correct answers you get per game so you can try to beat your top score each time.
